It started with a call I will never forget.
I was three states away when my sister called to tell me our father had fallen. He was okay. But I wasn't. I spent the next three weeks trying to solve what felt like an impossible problem: how do you get consistent, dignified, affordable care for someone you love, when every option either costs a fortune or feels completely wrong?
I toured nursing homes and left every visit feeling sick. I tried hourly agencies and watched my father's face fall each time a different stranger showed up at his door. I tried to manage it myself and watched my own life slowly collapse under the weight of it.
I built ByHearth because it didn't exist yet. One person, fully vetted, living in my dad's home, knowing his name, his stories, his routine. Everything handled. No rotating strangers. No surprise invoices. No compromises.
That is what ByHearth is. And that is what every family we serve deserves.
